The Oscillation are an amazing band from London. They graced our stage last September and pretty much blew everyones mind. Alone their visual artist with his ink blot splatter technique could have carried the show, not to mention the extremely tight bands ability to richly translate their 2 wonderful LPs to the stage. And that last song, the Suicide cover.. holy shit.
They are joined by Kulku, a Berlin band we have been very eager to get at 8MM Musik Night for awhile now after they stole the show at the last Krautrock Night at HBC last october.
Their concept of using no electricity and comprised of different percussion instruments including tympanis, marimbas and more, building dense and flowing krautrock rhythms and fronted by an engaging yet somehow distant front man reminiscent of the likes of Lou Reed or Alan Vega is an experience that must be seen live to truly appreciate.
